ย้อนไปเมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 25 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2558 ในเวลา 11.56 น. (เวลาในประเทศเนปาล) หรือ 13.11 น. (เวลาประเทศไทย) ได้เกิดเหตุแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 7.9 ริกเตอร์ ครั้งใหญ่ที่สุด ในรอบ 81 ปีของเนปาล ก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายมากมายทั้งชีวิตและทรัพย์สิน
